Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South Welcomes Suzy Bowman

Suzy Bowman has joined Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South as the nonprofit’s first-ever Director of Mississippi Programming. In her new role, Suzy will work to bring meaningful programs to K-12 students across Mississippi in partnership with businesses and community leaders who help JA achieve its mission of making every child world ready.

Bowman earned her Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in psychology and her MBA from Blue Mountain College. Prior to joining JA, Suzy served in a number of community leadership and work readiness roles including as an ecosystem coordinator for AccelerateMS and as a career coach for the Create Foundation. She is also involved in service work with various civic organizations ranging from Junior Auxiliary to the Commission on the Future of Northeast Mississippi.

When she’s not working, Suzy enjoys playing competitive tennis. In fact, she and her husband own a tennis academy and shop in her hometown of New Albany, MS. Suzy and her husband have two sons, Brace (11) and Bradyn (16), as well as two Corgis.
