Holiday Home Tour Aids Non-Profits With Heart of the Christmas Spirit
Collierville, Tenn, Nov. 13, 2021 –IMAGINE …. Twinkle lights glistening on rooftops. Trees all aglow with tinsel, shining bright with heirloom ornaments. The feel of Christmas fills the minds of young and old alike with hopes of seeing Santa’s reindeer and sleigh soar across the sky.
Visit four homes elegantly bedecked for the holiday season, Saturday December 11, 10am-4pm. Experience the ultimate joy of the holidays at the 12th Annual Home Tour presented by the Collierville Contemporary Club. Advance tickets are $20 at Colliervillecontemporaryclub.org and area businesses. Tour Day tickets are $25, available at tour homes and The Morton Museum.
Saturday, December 11, 10am-4pm, visit the Holiday Market inside The Morton Museum and four featured homes within the Natchez and Homewood area, and walking distance of the Historic Town Square and Museum. Each home reflects the owners personal and unique Holiday decor and spirit inside and out of their home. Homeowners are Harry Jackson, Anne and Richard Lee, Dennis Dominioni and Phillip Hamilton, and Stacy Neel.
“Adding to the uniqueness of the events of 2021, the walking tour offers ample free parking near the featured homes, all within a one block walk near the Town Square. The Contemporary Club continues to focus on giving back to the community where it was founded in 1936. Since the tour began 12 years ago $179,000 has been raised, all to benefit non-profit organizations in Collierville. Additionally, the club founded Collierville’s first public library, Shawn Darnell Club President said.
The 2021 Tour includes a new event, The Holiday Market with vendors selling crafts, jewelry, and other items for purchase, where attendees just might find the perfect Christmas gift and décor. Located inside the Morton Museum of Collierville History at the corner of Poplar and Main Street. Proceeds from the Holiday Market also benefit area non- profits.
Event parking is available on the Town Square, Collierville Schools Administration Building on College Street, Magnolias on Main, 153 Washington Street (Hart Properties Group) and Tom Brooks Park on Walnut Street.
Homes are not handicapped accessible and children under age 12 may not enter tour homes. Also, pets are not permitted inside tour homes. Collierville/Shelby County Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
