Mary Jean Smith is the Owner and a broker with Banyan Tree Realtors, one of the Memphis area’s leading real estate firms. She founded the firm in 1986 and established its headquarters in Collierville. She is a licensed Realtor in Tennessee and Mississippi. The Smith Family established town square favorite, The Silver Caboose, 10 years later in 1996. Three generations of the Smith Family are actively involved in the daily operation of The Silver Caboose. Bob and Mary’s daughter, Julie, is the general manager today. As its website says “The Best People in the World Eat at The Silver Caboose because it is the Best ‘Square Meal’ in Town.’ She is a fifth-generation Collierville resident. Smith and her family have called Collierville home her entire life.
