2021 Excellence in Business Awards Recipients Honored Among Governor Bill Lee 

The Collierville Chamber of Commerce  hosted its annual Excellence in Business Awards sponsored by Simmons Bank at Collierville First Baptist Church on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

With a sense of pride, the crowd stood in applause as Governor Bill Lee discussed the many reasons why Tennessee is one of the best places in the nation to live, work and invest. The 2021 Excellence in Business nominees are perfect examples of people who do so.

Following Governor Bill Lee, award-winning emcee Andrew Douglas returned to the stage to help present the 2021 Excellence in Business Awards to six recipients. The recipients are:

• Spirit of Collierville: Edward Jones – Kevin Baltier
• Nonprofit of the Year: Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy
• Healthcare Provider of the Year: Campbell Clinic
• Entrepreneur of the Year: The Skybox Grill
• Person of the Year: James Lewellen
• Bridging the Gap: Collierville Police Department

Presented by Simmons Bank, this event served as an opportunity to recognize those that set a standard for excellence in their respected category and strive for innovation in local business. Other major sponsors for the event included Alston Construction, Alexander Thompson Arnold, Orgill, Boyle Insurance Agency – Ron Gant and MLGW.
